Army Public School, Old Amritsar Cantt is a private school. It is being run under the aegis of Army Welfare Educational Society, a non-statutory private Society, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 vide Registrar of Societies, Delhi Administration, Delhi certificate No. s/ 13459 dated 29th April, 1983. No Government grant or aid either by the state or central Government is given for functioning of the school. The school is located in Old Amritsar Cantt. The school aims at imparting high-quality education. The emphasis is laid on all-round development of a child’s personality viz intellectual, creative, emotional and physical growth.
